Contact Heat Resistance

Polyco Heat Protection Bakers Mitts have been tested and awarded a Level 2 (up to 250°C for fifteen seconds) for contact-heat handling under European Standard EN 407. This allows the safe transfer and handling of seriously hot material and equipment. Safe scenarios include:

• Adjusting food, cakes, biscuits and bread on an oven tray
• Removing hot trays straight out the oven
• Handling plates heated before service
• Taking a hot pot out the oven

Extended 40cm Wrist Cuff

Polyco have designed their Bakers Mitts to prevent splashing, burning and heat-related injury not just at the hands, but up the majority of the arm. Complete with an extended 40cm wrist cuff, they run up to the lower elbow in order to prevent injury caused by dropped material, accidental contact and splashing.
