How will I know when my order has been dispatched?
Once your order has been dispatched from our warehouse, you will receive an email to inform you of this. In addition to this, once your order has been dispatched, the order will show as "Completed" rather than "In Progress" on the "Your Account" page of the site.
How will gloves be packaged?
Gloves are packaged in a number of different ways:
- Single Pairs/Small Quantities: Singular pairs of gloves and smaller quantities are usually sent in padded envelopes and should be delivered straight through your letterbox
- Larger Quantities/Boxes of Gloves: If you are purchasing larger quantities of gloves or gloves that are packaged in bulkier packaging, these will be dispatched in boxes
Please note that the packaging of individual gloves may vary depending on the manufacturer. If you would like to know more about the packaging of a specific type of glove, please contact our customer care team at helpdesk@safetygloves.co.uk.
How do you source gloves?
At SafetyGloves.co.uk, we only sell gloves from manufacturers that we have carefully vetted. This allows us to guarantee that the gloves that we sell are always of the best quality.
We strive to bring as many top-name brands to the market as possible and, if you are looking for a make of glove that we don't carry, please let us know and we will do our best to add it to our collection. To get in touch regarding a line or brand that we don't carry, please contact us at helpdesk@safetygloves.co.uk.
Can I trust the standard of your gloves?
To ensure that the gloves that we sell do what they say they will, we make sure that all of our gloves are rated to the appropriate EN standards. Most of our gloves feature PDFs with a copy of the conformity statements, giving you the peace of mind that gloves have been tested by the appropriate bodies. If a glove does not feature a conformity statement, this can be requested by emailing us at helpdesk@safetygloves.co.uk
To learn more about EN specifications and what they mean, check out our Knowledge Centre.
Have the gloves been tested to EU standards?
All of our PPE gloves have been tested to the EN standards, which measure how much a glove protects against a certain threat (for example, EN 388 measures how cut resistant gloves are). We dispatch all of our gloves with supporting documentation that shows to which standards the gloves have been tested.
Are documents sent with products?
With every purchase of PPE gloves, you will be supplied with the gloves' conformity statement and the instructions for the gloves. We do this to ensure that it is clear to which standards the gloves have been tested and how best to maintain and care for your gloves.
Do you sell non-PPE gloves?
Some of the gloves that we sell are not classified as PPE. For example, certain glove liners are not intended for use as workwear or protection when used alone. Please note that non-PPE gloves are supplied without supporting documentation.
Do you sell anything other than gloves?
At SafetyGloves.co.uk, we sell a small number of accessories that are perfect for use alongside your gloves. For a full range of high-quality PPE and work clothing, please visit our sister-site www.workwear.co.uk.
I am a supplier of gloves, who should I contact?
If you are a UK or European based manufacturer of gloves that would like to work with us, we would be happy to hear from you. Contact us at helpdesk@safetygloves.co.uk. Unfortunately, we cannot currently deal with non-EU/UK based suppliers of gloves.
Why is my industry not listed on your site?
We strive to keep a comprehensive list of industries to categorise our gloves and help our users find their perfect gloves. If we have missed your industry, please let us know and we'll do out utmost to find gloves that suit your industry. Contact us at helpdesk@safetygloves.co.uk.
What does "In Stock Now" mean?
When a product says that it is "In Stock Now", this means that the product is in stock in our London warehouse and is ready for dispatch. Please note that if you are ordering more than one pair, you may exceed the number of products that we have in stock and your order will either be part-shipped while we await additional stock from the manufacturer or delayed slightly.
Can I get a sample?
Unfortunately, we are currently unable to provide any gloves samples. Please note that the majority of our reusable gloves are available to purchase in single pair quality, making it easy to trial a pair without committing to a larger order.
Which methods of payment do you accept?
Here at SafetyGloves.co.uk we accept the following methods of payment:
- Debit and credit cards, including:
- Visa
- Mastercard
- American Express (via PayPal)
- PayPal payments

- BACS
Please note that payments via debit/credit cards and PayPal can be processed online. For payments via cheque or BACS, please contact our Customer Care Team at helpdesk@safetygloves.co.uk.
Can I get a quote for bulk purchasing?
For larger orders, we can sometimes offer savings on the stated price of the gloves. If you are buying multiple pairs of the same gloves, certain products have tiered pricing levels on the system, meaning that you do not have to request for bulk pricing.
If you are buying multiple types of gloves, or the gloves that you are buying do not have tiered pricing levels on them, please contact our Customer Care Team at orders@safetygloves.co.uk.
Can I get a discount?
We do offer certain discounts on gloves that are bought in a large quantity. If you are looking for a discount on smaller quantities of gloves, we would recommend checking out our Sale category.

How do I pay a pro forma invoice?
If you have received a pro forma invoice and would like to pay, you can do so via three methods:
- Using a credit/debit card over the telephone on 020 7501 1104. Please note that this option is only available for payments under £200.00 (inc. VAT).

- Via cheque – please make all cheques out to Health and Care (UK) Ltd.
Please be aware that cheques may take up to 10 days to clear and your goods will not be dispatched until this payment has cleared. If you would like to expedite your order, we would recommend using BACS rather than cheque where possible.
