Advanced Design Combines the Best in Protection and Function

ATG have developed multiple cutting-edge glove technologies to enhance safety, comfort and overall performance. These MaxiCut Gloves are crafted with the following technologies:

AIRtechAIRtech: Uses a patented micro-foam nitrile coating to delivery 360° breathability to prevent overheating
DURAtechDURAtech: Coating can withstand 12,000 abrasive cycles per millimetre, making them highly durable
ERGOtechERGOtech: Provides a form-fitting feel, with smooth and rounded fingertips for touch sensitivity and comfort
GRIPtechGRIPtech: Delivered through a micro-cup finish to provide a secure and controlled grip
AD-APTAD-APT: Releases a cooling agent once movement/temperature change is detected to maximise your comfort

How Do the MaxiFlex 3/4 Coated Gloves Improve Handling?

The 3/4 Coated Gloves feature a number of MaxiFlex's own innovative technologies to provide upmost levels of comfort and function. The gloves have a grippy micro-cup finish and an ergonomic construction that is 25% thinner than standard nitrile gloves, but twice as resistant to mechanical risks. While they can be used for managing large or coarse objects, this design also makes them suitable for handling small or fiddly components.

For comfort, AD-APT technology is activated by heat and the movement, releasing a natural cooling agent that keeps your hands cool and dry. Additionally, their nitrile coating is designed with 360° AirTech technology which keeps the gloves well-ventilated. It is this combination of comfort, resilience and breathability that makes the MaxiFlex 3/4 Gloves ideal for most handling applications.

What Types of Handling Are the MaxiFlex Gloves Suitable For?

The MaxiFlex 3/4 Coating Gloves perform well in a wide range of handling tasks. Environments they are well suited to include:

  • Light handling tasks
  • Heavy-duty handling tasks
  • Precision handling
  • Tactile handling
  • Dry handling
  • Outdoor handling
  • Handling rough and coarse materials
  • Handling smooth materials
  • Handling small materials

How Do the MaxiFlex Ultimate Gloves Protect Your Hands?

Thanks to MaxiFlex's ErgoTech technology, the Ultimate Gloves are lightweight for optimal dexterity, yet provide reliable protection against low to medium level risks. Their mechanical resistance can be broken down according to their EN 388 scores, which demonstrate resistance to cuts, abrasions, tears and punctures. The EN 388 rating of the MaxiFlex Ultimate Gloves is as follows:

EN 388

  • 4131A
HazardLevel of Resistance
Abrasion ResistanceLevel 4
Cut ResistanceLevel 1
Tear ResistanceLevel 3
Puncture ResistanceLevel 1
ISO Cut ResistanceLevel A

What Does This Mean?

This means that the gloves attain the highest possible level of abrasion resistance, and a very high level of tear resistance. As a result, the glove's material can withstand scratches and scrapes without becoming damaged, while also protecting the user from such injuries. The gloves therefore have great longevity and are suitable for handling coarse or rough materials.

How Much Grip Do These Gloves Provide

The GRIPtech technology of the Ultimate Gloves utilises a micro-cup finish for a more secure grip. The textured surface of their palms therefore creates traction during manual handling applications, so items are less likely to slip.

How Much Dexterity Will the Ultimate 3/4 Coated Gloves Provide?

With an ultra-thin design, a close fit and a thickness of only one millimetre, the Ultimate Gloves offer a fantastic level of dexterity. These attributes enable total control for secure handling of both large and small objects.

How Much Tactile Sensitivity Will The Ultimate Gloves Provide?

Made from flexible, extra-thin material, the gloves allow for an impressive level of touch sensitivity so users can feel the items they handle. This enables better hand control for even the trickiest, find handling jobs.

How Comfortable Are the MaxiFlex Ultimate Gloves

The MaxiFlex Ultimate Gloves are designed to be as comfortable as they are protective. They are made with the latest knitting technology for smooth, rounded fingertips and a snug, flexible fit. This construction accommodates the natural movement of the hands so they are never restricted, helping to prevent hand fatigue during long shifts or repetitive tasks. In-built cooling technology also keeps hands well aired and dry, even in warm conditions.

How Close-Fitting Are the MaxiFlex Ultimate Gloves?

So as not to restrict the user's natural range of movement, the MaxiFlex Ultimate Gloves are designed to provide a tight fit. In addition to dexterity, this also enables a higher level of tactile sensitivity and adds some insulating warmth for use in chilly weather. MultiFlex's patented ErgoTech technology ensures they still offer a high level of protection, despite being thinner than standard.

How Breathable Are the MaxiFlex Ultimate Gloves?

When wearing gloves for long periods, hands become clammy and uncomfortable, especially during strenuous work shifts. To combat this, the MaxiFlex gloves are well-ventilated and feature AD-APT technology which releases a natural cooling agent. This agent keeps hands cool and dry and lasts for the entire lifespan of the gloves.

Do These Gloves Provide Wrist Protection?

The knitwrist partially covers the wrist to prevent the ingress of dirt and debris. The wrist length varies depending on the size of the gloves, with Size 7 having a 64mm wrist, Size 8 having a 65mm wrist and Sizes 9 and 10 having 70mm length wrists.

Washing Instructions

Gloves from ATG can be washed safely in the following way:

1. Use commercial laundry soap or detergent (do NOT use dry cleaning solutions!)
2. Wash in warm to medium hot water, do not exceed 104°F (40°C)
3. Wash for 10 minutes
4. Rinse in cold water.
5. Repeat wash and rinse if soiling is especially heavy
6. Rinse in cold water
7. Tumble dry - maximum temperature 140°F (60°C)

When laundering gloves that have especially heavy dirt or grease, include several pieces of heavy canvas in the second wash cycle - friction from the canvas against the gloves helps loosen and remove deep dirt.

IMPORTANT NOTE

During the use of gloves and the laundering process glove performance can and will deteriorate. For critical areas requiring cut and heat resistance tests need to be conducted after use and laundering to ensure that the performance criteria still meet the needs of those using the glove. Safety Gloves can accept no liability once gloves have been washed.
