The gloves are really comfortable. I haven't had a chance to test out how waterproof they are but I've no reason to doubt that they are. A velcro strap around the opening would make it easier to get a coat sleeve over them. Delivered really quickly.

I’ve actually bought these gloves for skiing. This type of warm, rugged, great quality glove with a ski brand on it would cost well over £100. I’m super pleased with them and won’t go near ‘proper’ ski gloves again.

I use the Tegera 295 (40gm Thinsulate) for dog walking. However, recent severe temperatures that remained constantly below -2C with wind chill on top meant that even the 295 was insufficient. The 296 was toasty warm throughout. Delivery was crisp too. Obviously thicker Thinsulate meant the gloves functioned more like mitts - but better than the ski gloves I had! Need good gloves for dog walking as hands are not being used in movement to warm up with lower weight Thinsulate. I imagine excellent for outdoor bitter weather industry, as have leather palms, same as the 295.

What superb gloves! I want them for dog walking. I had a pair of Sealskins in the past which did not have leather palms & deteriorated in condition very rapidly. The fleece lining is lovely. I agree with other reviewers that you have to go up a size. I am normally a size 8, but purchased a 9. Highly recommend.

Excellent quality, waterproof and very warm for sub zero temperatures. Not too bulky so good for outside work. Get one size larger to be on safe side as a little tight. Would recommend for people working outside in the winter.
