Ejendals Jalas 8214 Flame Retardant Socks

In any work environment where naked flames or hot surfaces are likely to be encountered, total body protection is necessary to reduce the risk of serious injury. Ejendals Jalas 8214 Flame Retardant Socks have been developed with a heat-resistant aramid construction, making them ideal for fire risk environments. Featuring antibacterial fibres that counteract odour and wick moisture away from the skin, the Jalas 8214 are comfortable to wear for extended periods.

Please note, per the manufacturer, this item is not classed as PPE. This is not designed as protective workwear, and therefore no conformity documentation will be provided with your purchase.

Permanent Protection

The Jalas 8214 are made with Lenzing FR flame-retardant viscose fibres. The flame retardant is encapsulated within the fibre, meaning it cannot be washed or worn away. In many fireproof textiles, the flame retardant is added retroactively, which means that it is not permanent; this is not the case with the Jalas 8214 Flame Retardant Socks.
