  • Materials handling
  • Mechanics

Please note that this is just a list of recommendations, and that these gloves are ideal for many general handling tasks. Not only are they resilient enough to manage coarse or rough material handling, they are breathable and lightweight for use in warm or uncomfortable outdoor conditions.

What Work Conditions Are the MaxiFlex Gloves Suitable For?

The MaxiFlex Gloves feature an incredibly versatile, protective design. Environments that they are best suited to include:

  • Indoor
  • Outdoor
  • Clean
  • Warm
  • Dry

Why Are the MaxiFlex Endurance Fully Coated Gloves Ideal for Handling?

For safe and productive manual handling, the MaxiFlex Endurance Gloves have raised, textured nitrile dots on their palms. These dots add traction between the gloves and other materials, ensuring they don't slip from a user's grasp. The dot style also works to retain the gloves flexibility so as not to restrict a user's control or dexterity.

How Much Dexterity Do the MaxiFlex Endurance Gloves Provide?

The liner of the MaxiFlex Endurance Gloves is made from a flexible blend of nylon and Spandex. This liner bends to the natural shapes and contours of the user's hands, so their dexterity is never impeded. An ultra-thin construction also enables tactile sensitivity for maximum control during handling applications.

What Can the MaxiFlex Gloves Protect Me From?

The MaxiFlex Gloves are designed to offer dexterity, comfort and a level of protection ideal for light handling work. In particular, they are able to protect against grazes caused by rough or coarse surfaces. The extent of their mechanical resistance can be demonstrated by their EN 388 ratings, which demonstrate abrasion, cut, tear and puncture resistance. The MaxiFlex Endurance Gloves achieved the following ratings:

EN 388

  • 4131A
HazardLevel of Resistance
Abrasion ResistanceLevel 4
Cut ResistanceLevel 1
Tear ResistanceLevel 3
Puncture ResistanceLevel 1
Blade CutLevel A

What Does This Mean?

According to this standard, these gloves achieve the highest possible level of abrasion resistance and a very high level of tear resistance. Not only does this mean they are able to protect the wearer against scratches and scrapes, but that they also have good longevity due to their resistance to such damage.

How Breathable Are the MaxiFlex Endurance Gloves 42-847?

To enable dexterity in manual handling environments it's important that gloves are comfortable enough for long term wear. To achieve this, the MaxiFlex Endurance Gloves boast 360 degree breathability, and are ultra-thin and snug, fitting almost like a second skin. Even in warm conditions, you'll barely notice you're wearing them.

How Lightweight Are the MaxiFlex Gloves?

These gloves have a thin, lightweight construction for maximum dexterity and touch sensitivity. Their nylon and Spandex liner stretches easily with the hand as it bends, ensuring movement is never restricted. This helps to prevent hand fatigue during strenuous work shifts.

Do These Gloves Offer Wrist Protection?

The knitwrist partially covers the wrist and fits snugly against it, preventing the skin from coming into contact with dirty surfaces and stopping debris from entering the gloves. The length of the wrists varies depending on the glove size, starting with 86mm at size 8 and ending with 84mm at size 10.

How Much Touch Sensitivity Do the Endurance Gloves Provide?

Thanks to the latest innovations in knitting technology, the Endurance Gloves provide a superb level of tough sensitivity. They are extra-thin and feature smooth, rounded fingertips that allows users to feel the items they handle for better control.

How Durable Are the MaxiFlex Gloves?

Gloves intended for manual handling must be resilient to withstand continuous work as well as damage caused by accidental scratches and scrapes. According to EN 388 standards, the MaxiFlex Endurance Gloves achieve the highest possible level of abrasion resistance and a high level of tear resistance. They are therefore unlikely to incur damage from such risks, so you can carry out your handling applications with confidence.

Compatible with Touchscreen Devices

The MaxiFlex Grip Dot Handling Gloves are touchscreen-compatible, so you can use phones, tablets and other electronics without removing your gloves and compromising your safety. This is also useful for industrial equipment and machinery that uses touchscreen operation, which is becoming more and more common.

Washing Instructions

Gloves from ATG can be washed safely in the following way:

1. Use commercial laundry soap or detergent (do NOT use dry cleaning solutions!)
2. Wash in warm to medium hot water, do not exceed 104°F (40°C)
3. Wash for 10 minutes
4. Rinse in cold water.
5. Repeat wash and rinse if soiling is especially heavy
6. Rinse in cold water
7. Tumble dry - maximum temperature 140°F (60°C)

When laundering gloves that have especially heavy dirt or grease, include several pieces of heavy canvas in the second wash cycle - friction from the canvas against the gloves helps loosen and remove deep dirt.

IMPORTANT NOTE

During the use of gloves and the laundering process glove performance can and will deteriorate. For critical areas requiring cut and heat resistance tests need to be conducted after use and laundering to ensure that the performance criteria still meet the needs of those using the glove. Safety Gloves can accept no liability once gloves have been washed.

Bricklayer to trade, gloves are thin enough to not get in the way of the line but strong enough to last a good while.
