HOW WATERPROOF ARE THE ARGON THERMAL GLOVES?
The Skytec Gloves will keep your hands completely dry when handling wet and damp materials. The bottom half of the palm and fingers is completely waterproof, meaning that you can dip your fingers and palm into a bucket of water and your fingers will stay completely dry.
The top half of the gloves including the cuff is water resistant. You shouldn't worry as water-resistance means that your wrist and the top of your hand will still stay dry when it rains and when handling wet and damp materials. Just look at how these gloves performed in the waterproof bucket test!
Care Recommendations for the Skytec Argon Thermal Gloves
- It is the responsibility of the end user and not the manufacturer to determine glove suitability for the intended use.
- Not recommended for use with liquid chemicals. Do not use near moving machines if there is a risk of entanglement. The glove may lose its insulative properties when it becomes wet.
- Gloves should ideally be stored in cool, dry conditions in original packaging and away from direct sunlight
- Both new and used gloves should be thoroughly inspected (especially after cleaning), before being worn to ensure no damage is present. Gloves should not be left in a contaminated condition if re-use is intended in which case gloves should be cleaned as far as possible, provided no serious hazard exists, before removal from hand. Excess contamination should first be removed and the gloves may be decontaminated with mild detergent solution then rinsed with clean water and dried ideally with some air movement.
