wHAT aRE THE bENEFITS OF gOAT hIDE lEATHER?
Goatskin has been used in glove making for centuries due to its naturally waterproof nature and soft and supple feel. Perfect for professional grade gloves that are going to be worn for long periods, goat-hide is kind to sensitive skin, allowing moisture, vapour and air to freely pass through without aggravating your pores.
Reinforced Thumb Crotch Reinforces Protection
A reinforced thumb crotch refers to the section of bolstered fabric lining the crevice between the thumb and index finger. This robust strip strengthens a notoriously weak area of the glove, preventing tears and splits in the fabric when handling heavyweight material that demands a strong grip.
Maximum Level 4 Burn Resistance
Pred6 Gauntlets have been awarded the maximum level 4 burn resistance rating under EN 407, which is the European standard governing garments resistant to fire and heat. Their ignition-proof fabric smoulders ignition sources, preventing fire spreading onto your hands when working with and around high heat material.
Flared Wrist-Cuff Maximises Scope of Protection
A flared wrist-cuff is a must for welders as any exposed areas can lead to serious injury. Predator Welding Gauntlets use a wide flare design to cover as much of the wrist and forearm as possible without impeding on comfort and performance.
This broad design can mean the difference between stray sparks and splashes causing serious damage to your arm, and a scrap of solder getting lodged on your glove cuff.
Enhance Tactility With Welding Style Gloves
Not all gloves that offer a high level of heat protection allow you to handle intricate and small bits of material easily. Predator Pred 6 Heat-Resistant Gauntlets are different.
Utilising grippy fingertips that don't compromise protection, you can quickly and accurately pick up and interact with parts, switches, solder, tools and equipment with ease.

Bought these gloves for my log burner. Very happy with them, they are surprisingly thin which gives great dexterity, but thick enough to give you enough protection to place logs into the burner.

No idea if these are any good for TIG welding as will be using them in the garden. Leather nice enough to be flexible when pruning long lengths of roses and raspberries. A good fit for a small hand and covers the wrist being gauntlets

I'm not a welder, I'm a gardener. These gloves are brilliant when dealing with thorns and nettles.

Response:
Hi Dave,
Many thanks for leaving a review with us. It's great to know these gloves have dual-purpose and that they're evidently strong enough to withstand heat, flames, and thorn bushes!
Happy gardening and we look forward to hearing from you again soon.

Quick delivery, poor quality control 13 February 2022 | Rachael
The gloves arrived quickly, unfortunately the quality control was not good. The left glove is clearly thinner and a slightly smaller size. We brought these due to the temperature rating but don’t feel the information provided was accurate especially as previously said the left glove has considerable less padding.

A great glove for TiG welding on site. 02 September 2021 | Robin
These gloves are well made, durable and provide a good balance of dexterity and protection.
A very good choice if you are doing a bit of fitting up/fabrication whilst welding as the gloves have a bit more protection.
Am currently using them to TIG weld schd. 40 Carbon pipe.
Recommended.

Great metalworking gloves 05 April 2021 | David
Have used these for a while now and find them great for general metalwork and light welding. Lightweight and comfortable. During a long periods of welding I find them a little too thin for some of the heat build up.
