Highly versatile, the Portwest A646 Vis-Tex Winter Cut and Heat-Resistant Gloves are uniquely composed to provide high-risk cut protection in cold conditions, while also being able to offer contact heat resistance for handling hot material. Further adding to their properties, these gloves have a flexible sandy nitrile coating that provides excellent grip in both wet and dry conditions, for easy and safe handling.

How Do the Portwest A646 Nitrile Gloves Protect Your Hands?

The Portwest A646 Gloves feature an advanced construction that protects your hands in a number of different ways. A twin layer design of HPPE on the outside and an acrylic thermal layer on the inside provides encapsulating warmth and contact cold protection. On top of this, a double-dipped nitrile coating provides both contact heat protection (up to 250°C) and exceptional Level D cut-resistance.

Thermal Safety Gloves

Designed with a special twin layer design, the Portwest A646 Gloves offer certified Level 2 contact cold protection, while providing enough insulation to keep your hands toasty warm while working in sub-zero temperatures.

Protection Against Extreme Heat

Proving their versatility, the Portwest A646 Gloves are also built to handle extreme heat as well as extreme cold. Certified with Level 2 contact heat resistance, these gloves will let you handle heated materials with a temperature of up 250°C for 15 seconds, without any burns or scalding!

Advanced Cut Protection

On top of hot and cold protection, the Portwest A646 Gloves also offer a high level of cut-resistance (Level D) to ensure that your hands and fingers are kept safe when working with sharp blades and jagged materials. The protective palm coating has been double-dipped to increase the gloves strength and durability, while the textured surface affords both better grip and precision.
