EN 388
EN 388 is a European regulation governing the sale of gloves used for safety and protection. It determines the gloves' performance when used for protection against mechanical machinery by measuring the fabric's abrasion, cut, tear and puncture resistance.
The EN 388 cut resistance test uses a single sharp implement to repeatedly pressure a glove in order to determine the amount of force required to cause visible and functional damage.

Adjustable Velcro Strap
The inclusion of a fully adjustable Velcro strap allows the user to essentially "lock down" the cuff of the glove, preventing unwanted movement, slippage and displacement whilst working. This also works to ensure no dirt, debris, liquid or material can enter the glove at the cuff area during the day.
Incredibly Robust PVC Coating
PVC is naturally entirely waterproof as it forms a thick, shiny layer on the glove that provides great protection against grease, oil and other sticky moistures. This makes PVC the perfect coating for protection against harmful liquids like chemicals and oil.
Virus Resistant Outer Shell
EN 374-5 certification details that a garment has been deemed resistant to bacteria, fungi and viruses. This rating means that microbials and other harmful molecules will not work to actively breakdown the fabric of a glove, nor will they be harboured on the PVC surface if they do come into contact with the glove.
Maximum Level 4 Abrasion Resistance Rating
Under EN 388, the maximum abrasion resistance rating is level 4, which demonstrates a glove can take some serious wear and tear before showing signs of breaking down. Abrasion resistance is vital for a glove that encounters a great deal of exposure and chemical contact during the day.

It is never nice when your drain gets blocked but with these gloves it makes it easier to cope with. The gloves are tough and with the Velcro at the top you can tighten them so they don’t slip down. I would recommend these gloves they are excellent.

Bought these gloves on spec. as winter approached. I use them for vehicle washing and, where they have proved to be superb, for maintenance of a garden pond. Should have done it years ago!

The gauntlets arrived speedily. I only needed one to clean soil out of my bathroom drain. It was plenty long enough and the velcro gave a snug fit. The hand section was thick enough not to be damaged by rooting around in the drain. I can now feel the exit hole and the water level has fallen considerably so a big success. Look like they will last for some time with my very occasional use.

Though very comfortable and easily adjustable, they were not capable of handling 1 day in a busy pub without getting cuts.
I was looking for a pair of water and cut resistant gauntlets to protect my arms and believed this would suffice, but unfortunately not. It was a shame because they look and feel great to use, but weren't up to the task.

Firstly, the service was excellent. The gloves were dispatched almost immediately and arrived next morning.
I've been using the gloves for washing bottles in steriliser solution in a deep tub. I was worried that I wouldn't be able to grip the wet bottles securely but they are more than adequate in terms of grip. They also seem to be very sturdy though I haven't used them in an environment where they may tear.
A great buy.

I do a lot of work in rivers and these are the only gloves I have found that actually stay in place on the upper arm, thanks to the Velcro. They are strong too. Would give 5 stars but the thread holding the Velcro to the glove is thin and tears if you are not very careful

I had a pair of these for several years before tearing them on something sharp and ordering these replacements. Even though they feel thick enough, they retain genuine feel when holding objects and are great for handling objects in wet environments. I have one pair for the garden pond, allowing me to handle plants and pumps without bothering about getting cuts and infections. I have another pair for maintenance of the hot tub, allowing me to put the filters into highly alkaline cleaning solution and remove them, along with turning them around as I rinse off muck and the solution. Treat these gloves well and they will last years. Excellent product and definitely made to European standards.

Our gardener has a skin condition that should stop him working. We have found these gloves totally protect his arms and allow him to continue working and do more. We hope they will change his life, opportunities and future. We can also do the pond etc. without worrying. Delivery was reasonable after contacting the company and stocks were being replaced. Very helpful.

Bought another pair of pond gloves that proved to be out of stock. Was contacted and another type of pond gloves was offered at a slightly cheaper price. They are perfect for my use to clear a water feature pump and were slightly cheaper!
