How Does VEP Padding Absorb Vibrations and Impacts?

VEPs (Visco-Elastic-Polymer) are solids that mimic the behavior of liquids, which allows dissipation of shock waves better than any other material. The “solid-liquid” nature of VEP absorbs shock waves in all directions at once, reforming to its original shape at a rate that is slow enough so as not to exert outward pressure that could cause reverberations, but fast enough to regain its original shape before the next shock.

The Impacto 501 are constructed from a combination of 4-way stretch polyester and cotton fabrics. Together, the fabrics ensure an optimal level of breathability, whilst the liner's fingerless design allows for further comfort through increased airflow.

Washing Instructions

Hand wash with cold water and soft detergent.
Do not use bleach or strong detergent.

I'm a letter cutter and sometimes I want some protection from anti vibration gloves but want my fingers free (particularly on the hand that I need to switch whatever machine I'm working with off as if the gloves are too thick it gets a bit tricky) Looking forward to trying them out.
