Suitable Applications and Professions for Use
Ejendals 8830R Gloves can be used outdoors throughout winter and grant protection when handling incredibly hot material. Please view the list below to see a few professions and applications that we recommend as suitable:
Incredible Contact Heat Resistance
Contact heat resistance is vital for blacksmiths, mechanics, foundry workers, welders and any other professionals handling heated material in the workplace. Tegera 8830R Contact Heat Gloves allow for the safe handling and transportation of material registering a temperature of up to 250°C for fifteen seconds.
Cut Resistance Fabric
Ejendals Tegera 8830R Gloves are made from a blend of high-performance polyethylene (HPPE) and stainless steel fibre yarn. These two fabrics create a tough, impenetrable shell that bolsters the nylon/polyester fabric blend and makes it cut-resistant.
Cold Weather Complete
Ejendals 8830R Gloves are ideal for use throughout winter thanks to their contact cold resistance. The fabric acts as a barrier, preventing cold material transferring its lack of heat onto the user. This is ideal if you work in cold storage or outdoor environments where lifting is a requirement.
Lengthy Knitted Wrist Cuff
A lengthy and bulky wrist cuff is beneficial for a number of reasons. Firstly, it prevents dirt and other unwanted bits of debris entering the glove. This can cause irritation and damage to the skin if left unchecked. Secondly, it can help to prevent a glove from "running up". This is where the fabric becomes loose and disjointed, creating displacement and sagging at the wrist and palm area.
